As UWE has a partnership with First Bus, reduced ticket fares for the m bus should be negotiated to facilitate travel between Frenchay campus and the city centre. Students experience a higher cost of living with this commute and bus tickets are increasing significantly. A suggestion of £1 per trip would be realistic and beneficial for both First Bus and UWE students.

12:04am on 23 Nov 24 Public transport is vital in an urban area. However, for public transport to work, it needs to be affordable (to promote its use, after all it is a mass transport system). This is especially true for students since they depend on this service to get to Frenchay.

10:51am on 22 Nov 24 If you want people to keep using buses and reduce emissions, increasing the prices making it cheaper to drive cars is not the answer and creates a divide between class.

10:48am on 22 Nov 24 Buses are too expensive and very infrequent and unreliable. It is honestly cheaper for me to pay to run my own car
